What began in January 2020 as a project for web development and UI/UX design has grown into an ongoing partnership, with Nickelfox continuing to support and evolve the platforms to this day.

THE CHALLENGE
Origami Consulting needed a technology partner who could handle both the design and development of their web and mobile platforms end-to-end. They wanted someone who understood modern UX expectations and had the engineering depth to build a production-grade SaaS product.
The challenge was to translate a clear product vision into wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and fully working applications — across web, iOS, and Android — without disruption to their core business operations.
OUR APPROACH
Nickelfox handled the full lifecycle — from wireframes and UX design through to front-end, back-end, and mobile development — with a dedicated project manager providing regular updates throughout.
Started with wireframes in Figma and Sketch based on reference examples provided by the client, then refined into polished, user-friendly designs across every web and mobile screen.
Built a full-stack web platform with React on the frontend, Node.js powering the backend API, and MongoDB as the database — delivering a fast, scalable product for the SaaS company.
Developed native iOS and Android applications that mirror the web experience on mobile, giving Origami Consulting's users a consistent, high-quality product across all devices.
